Letter From the Editors

Dear Beloved Readers,

For our final issue of the year, we wanted to showcase our staff’s genuine creativity. To give them the space to delve into something new and explore different facets of their individuality has been the mission behind {in}Visible throughout this year. 

To give a background behind the creation of this issue, we had all of our staff sit down at one of our staff meetings and use the time to create whatever they chose. Although we gave some direction and inspiration, much of the creation came entirely from themselves. Each of our staff members has grown so much in the past five issues. 

Keeping all the jagged edges of our work, not shaved down in the process of editing, but raw and untouched. This is our staff in their truest form. When given a set amount of time to create, what flows from their fingertips onto the page.

Not only does it show our readers the talent of our staff, it also serves as a measure of growth. A signifier of how they have improved upon themselves throughout this year. Whether that is exploring different writing styles or using new art mediums. 

This issue has been a culmination of the changing phases of our lives. For as briefly as each issue’s theme imbued us with passion and motivated us to create, it just as quickly fled with the changing seasons, bringing about new inspiration with the months. 

We would like to thank our editorial board, Diana, Jenny, Mariam, Ananya, Sneha, Megana, and Sarayu, for all the time and dedication they have put into {in}Visible this year. Our magazine would not be what it is without their endless commitment to uplifting the voices at {in}Visible. We would also like to congratulate the incoming members of our editorial board, Sarah, Anh Tim, Liah, and Pauline. You all bring a beautiful voice and vitality to {in}Visible, and we look forward to seeing how the magazine grows under your leadership.
